Am I just being paranoid?
Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean there's nothing wrong. Paranoia is a good habit with guns. At least, to an extent.
That's not paranoia, just a well known fact!Plus it never hurts to realize that they really are out to get you. LOL

So I tightened the kydex on my crossbreed the other day. I wanted it tight enough so I wouldn't feel like my weapon will fall out if I am running or get into an altercation where my weapon being drawn is not necessary. I am hearing a lot of stories about glocks going off while re holstering. I'm wondering if it is possible for the kydex to be too tight on the trigger guard, causing I to rub and maybe discharge the weapon. I have worn mine for five years now with no AD's but am becoming a bit uncomfortable reading about all of these. Am I just being paranoid?
I do. Mine was really loose. With it on my hip, when I jumped up and down I could feel it sliding in and out.You do realize that an IWB holster like a CBST isn't supposed to be so tight that the gun will not fall out when the holster isn't in place and held by a belt don't you?
It is your "BODY" that is supposed to create the "resistance" that keeps the gun from falling out. I can hang upside down, wrestle, spar, train & exercise without my gun moving an inch! (When it is in place properly.) But, take my holster off & try to turn it upside down & my gun will fall out every time. (My CBST is adjusted to fit PERFECTLY.)

Whatever you do, stay away from trying to tighten the ejection port. It took me a whole weekend of adjusting and re adjusting before I got it right. I had to use a ziplock bag attatched to my vacuum cleaner hose to get it back in shape.Just wanted to be sure you understood how "retention" is supposed to work in a CBST. I tried adjusting mine a time or two with a hair dryer. I find a heat gun works better. However, if you aren't exactly sure about how to properly fit the holster to your gun, I suggest sending it in to Crossbreed. (They have excellent service!)
