Concealed Weapons Permit

I applied for a CWP a couple of weeks ago. My firearms instructor suggested that I send the application via certfied return receipt requested which I did. It's going on two weeks now and I have not received the signed slip back. I noticed that the address that I sent the application to is a PO Box but the postal worker told me that someone would sign for it no matter what. This is a Florida application. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

Try posting on the Florida site. You will probably get more accurate feedback there.

The only way you can speed up the process is with the electronic fingerprint submission, which will speed up the process somewhat. I think you wasted the extra postage. With the overload of applications right now, you can expect at least 90 days.
