Thank God I'm alive!
I would have posted this in the letters to the editor forum, but since no one has posted anything there since July, I decided to post this here. This is the letters to the editor section of my hometown newspaper for Thursday, October 9. Read the very first article on the page, titled "Bin Laden Lulling America to Sleep."

The fact that the economy, and not something more existential, such as the War on Terror, is the most important issue to voters, should really alarm us.
