Could the 2nd Amendment be abolished?

After Katrina a federal law was enacted which prevents the confiscation of legally owned firearms during or after an emergency. H.R. 5013, the “Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act,” was introduced in the House by Congressman Bobby Jindal (LA - 1) and passed the House on July 25, 2006 with...

    video taping LEO'S in wisconson.

Beat me to it. In America we have the rght to videotape anything that occurs in the public domain and even some that should be protected by privacy. In most states you can even videotape your neighbor across the street through his open shades. If he wants privacy he must close them.

    Tactical Pens any good?

This pen is great. It's made of aircraft grade aluminum, has a checkered grip for retention, has a very sharp point and is heavy. It's also about an inch longer than the average pen. It can be used as a pointing device into one's ribs for body control, as a strike device, to control a perp...

Wa state CWP/CPL denied!!! , told to surender guns!

No I'm not joking. I'm in the permit business in nearly every state and have seen numerous denials in "shall issue" states. If you've been convicted of a dangerous crime, if you're a repeat offender or mentally disturbed, you're not getting a permit in any shall issue state. Period. We have an...

    Balance between safety and vigilance

Also, consider the Eddie Eagle program for your little guy. The program is geared toward kids starting around age 5. We give the classes to kids every so often. They love the stuffed eagles, coins, stickers and comic books. It's a great way to reach the little ones. You can get the materials...

    No more Alcohol for me

Although I think this is pretty funny it's a statement against each person's penal interest. As soon as someone is shot the accusation of alcohol will be made possibly causing a civil action. Definitely sending a message to the perps in the area.

Open Carry A Good Idea Or Bad?

Much of my advanced tactical training used the element of surprise. I was trained to place the attacker behind the reactionary curve. Breaking the OODA loop is surprise through disruption. It is a key element of indiviual self defense. This was also hammered into my head by my father, a graduate...

Many thanks to those who attended our two-day personal protection class on 6/25 & 6/26. Five USA Carry contibuters were among the students and all did an exemplary job. Federal carry laws

Exactly. These two misfits broke 18 or 19 state and federal laws. Does anyone think a 20th law would have mattered? Same with Cho at VA Tech. He did not obtain his gun legally. He falsley answered the questions on a federal 4473 BATFE form. He checked "no" to the question about mental illness...

    Dog attacks and confrontations????

I agree. With rare exception you can stop even a large dog. A big part of the terror of the initial attack is the ferocity which appears in a dog's demeanor. Most times it's merely for show. There was a time when an attacking dog scared the hell out of me. But after training K9's for over a...
