Joshua (Josh) Logan, Lead Instructor, is an NRA-Certified Basic Pistol and Refuse to be a Victim Instructor, Arizona Certified POST peace officer and former police officer in North Dakota and a current police officer for a Phoenix area police department.
Following service with the USAF, where (as a Distinguished Graduate of the USAF’s Security Forces Academy), he was a member of the Tactical Response Force (TRF) providing Group- and Squadron-level Tac Team security for nuclear weapons convoys, “Rapid Response” to nuclear ICBM launch facilities during alarm activations, and aerial (helo) infield support with heavy weapons, explosives, and sniper/precision weapons engagements (as well as armory-level maintenance and control of a variety of specialized systems–from M9 pistols and M4 carbines to SAW and medium machine guns, grenade launchers, and exotic equipment such as the Barrett .50 BMG
He continued to hone his LEO and firearms skills through such specialized training as the National Highway Transportation Administration’s ARIDE program, Calibre Press Street Survival seminar, and certification as a Smith & Wesson M&P armorer.
His awards and decorations include the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Medal, U.S. Air Force Expert Marksmanship Ribbon (with bronze star denoting M4 Carbine and M9 Pistol), 91st Space Wing, Minot AFB, Air Crew of the Quarter (2007), and USAF Achievement Medal. His law enforcement awards include Police Officer of the Year, 2013 from his local B.PO.E.
Josh, a proud member of the USAF Sergeant’s Association, and currently is a Certified Instructor for C2 Tactical, Tempe's premiere gun range.
