I don't think Zimmerman really trusted that guy. Who hired him and why he was hired is the mystery in itself. Why he did not even tell his attorney that he is going to apologize to the parents of Martin in court is in itself a decider on why he did it without his attoryney's knowledge if GZ really trust him. So many variables. He hasn't found a real attorney who will defend him honestly. All his attorneys, whether the former ones or the current one are all after their 15 minutes of fame and for what they can get out of him. Sad.
