Anyone try the Zack Concealment Holster? I ordered one today. Link Removed

Interested to hear how it works. I dont know anyone that has any experience with that style of carry. What gun are you carrying?

Not sure that I understand it's use. What keeps it in place IWB? Will it move down into your pants without any attachment other then dangling from a string?

I wish I could figure out why companies are making these snap on trigger guards for mexican carry, this is NO holster. What about comfort?

Still has not arrived yet. Carrying S&W M&P 9mm compact. Been carrying iwb about 3:00 with no holster , as long as you wear a belt it stays put real good - but until I get the Zack there's nothing chambered! It's pretty much invisible and the Zack won't add anything to it. Check out the video: One Source Tactical - Zack Holster - YouTube There's a slew of reviews, some good, some not so good. Blogger Legion's Fate has quite a few posts on it: Legion's Fate: Search results for zack .

Update: I've had the Zack for a little while now, and although it obviously is not going to meet everyone's needs, it is perfect for the purpose it was created for, and is working great for me. It's a true minimalist design with a price tag to match created for simple iwb carry. Wearing it at 3 o'clock strong side it practically disappears, although it is much more comfortable in colder weather with a tucked in undershirt to shield your skin. It's been staying put really well, but there's no chance of one-handed re-holstering. Also works good as a trigger guard for a nightstand set up or in a bag.

Actually, the way it snaps on it covers the trigger so there's really no chance, and you've got to yank it to get it out.

I have had a couple of "Zack" holsters for a while. I use one in a Blackhawk bag with a soft nylon holster, in which I carry a Glock 19. I attached a patch of velcro to the cord and it pulls the Zack off after the gun clears the bag. It acts to protect the trigger while in the bag. The other I put on my G-17 at night and occasionally use for "Mexican Carry"AIWB and it works just fine with the right attire. It also has a small Square of velcro attached to the para cord and mates to a piece of velcro on the inside surface of my gun belt.

This is basically a copy of the MIC holster. When properly used the gun is drawn from inside the waistband and then thrust toward the target as the elbow comes down. At this time the holster snaps off the triggerguard. Since the gun is outside your pants and the muzzle is moving toward the target at the time the triggerguard is cleared how do you suppose a neligent discharge is supposed to happen? The hand stays off the trigger longer than it will when drawn from any duty holster. The muzzle is pointed away from you. I had 2 MIC holsters when I carried Glocks. They are simple and they work. I'm back to carrying the 1911 clan again. I can't seem to stay away from them.

OK been using it for a while and I must say I'm really happy with it, don't feel the need for another ccw holster. Thing disappears, no bulk because it only covers the trigger, has never fallen out, the only downside is that you cannot reholster with ease. And I suppose the comfort level would depend on make and model of your weapon, mine's an S&W M&P compact - not a huge gun but not a pocket pistol either, but no sharp edges.
