Your favorite CCW position.

I have a Galco king tuk for my glock 26 gen 4, I like it and wear it at the 4' o clock position. The only problem I have is that I can always feel it and the leather is pretty thick and maybe just not broke in yet... I haven't owned it very long. I really want to try the crossbreed or the old faithful IWB because a lot more people say those are more comfortable.

You have to break it in. I wore mine for a month and then actually walked into a government facility with it on because I forgot it was there.

My first IWB is a crossbreed I am still using it as my preferred carry holster. I havent tried any other as I am quite satisfied with the crossbreed. I plan to buy another for my recent purchase.

Thanks for the info I'll wear it for a while and see if it's still comfortable once it's broken in if I still don't like it I'll try out the crossbreed. Anyways doesn't hurt to have more than one :)

Thanks for all of your valuable input and experience. I have done a lot of experimenting and have found the appendix the most natural and concealing for my build. The only problem is the convertible IWB/OWB-Left/Right DeSantis holster I own has no adjustable cant. I would prefer it to lean a little to the right . The other issue is that the gun and holster set very low. The inside of the grip is at the top of the waistband which interferes with a fast draw. Any Suggestions on holsters or adjustments.

I can't afford to buy and try a dozen holster styles. Looking for feedback on favorite IWB holster and positions. For instance dominant hand side, cross draw, chest holster, back or kidney location, front carry. Appreciate your advice.

I'm right handed and most of the time I carry a full size 1911. I need to be able to move around and sit. I don't particularly like shoulder holsters for various reasons. Small of the back is out for other reasons.

So I carry IWB at 3:30 with the holster adjusted so that there's about 20 degrees of cant. The height is adjusted so that the trigger sits just above my waistband.

That offers good comfort and concealment.

I agree with BonannoFamily, Old Faithful Holster works great but mines at 3:30 since I'm not a lefty. I also carry a Ruger SR9c, or sometimes a Bersa Thunder .380 or Thunder .32... have a Stoeger Cougar 9mm too and it is one excellent gun but mine is not for carry, just home and range.

I carry a Beretta Nano AIWB with a Comp-Tac 2 o'Clock, it's not the most comfortable but I've been adapting to it as it conceals the best for me. I'm sure 3 or 4 o'clock would be more comfortable but with my slim body type and slim fit clothes its not possible at all unless I sold off my entire wardrobe.
