It's called striker drag. The firing pin/striker isn't retracting before the ejection of the case starts.
That's good information to know. Would this cause failures to eject?

I've never heard of that causing anything but possible striker tip breakage but even that is very rare in quality made handguns. The reports of the Sig P365 striker drag has been one of the discussions with few incidences of breakage.

Probably not something I need to worry about with the Glock line of pistols.
