DHS Tells Border Patrol They Have Ammo Shortage

6 April 2013 / 233 Comments

I know, you are probably thinking like I am after reading the title, “You’ve got to be kidding!” I’m not. Even after the Department of Homeland Security indicated that they had nearly 264 million rounds of ammunition back near the end of November 2012, they have sent out an email to Border Patrol agents yesterday informing them that they will not be issued any new proficiency ammunition for next quarter.

Townhall obtained an email sent to Border Patrol agents stationed in the El Centro border sector by a supervisor:

Enforcement Personnel,

Due to budget concerns and ammunition availability, we will not be getting issued any proficiency ammunition for next quarter. In addition to these reductions, we are also being limited to qualification ammo only. What this means to you is that you will not receive the normal 150 rounds for practice and we will not have any extra ammunition for a combat course following normal qualifications.

If you have the ammunition available and would like extra practice during your qualification day, the firearms instructors will have a training course available for Indio Station Personnel, keeping in mind basic marksmanship skills as well as tactical training with a limited amount of ammunition. You are not required to bring your own ammunition.

If you do not have extra ammo to bring, you will be given extra time to clean and maintain your issued handgun as well as station long arms.

If you have any questions about this quarters (sic) quals please feel free to send me your concerns.

Thanks.

According to my previous calculations, not only did DHS inform Tom Coburn that they had an inventory at that time of nearly 264 million round of ammunition (figure that was 73% of the previous three years purchases), but they had also budgeted over $37 million to be spent on ammunition in fiscal year 2013

ATF Seeks 'Massive' Database of Personal Info: 'Assets, Relatives, Associates and More'

A recent solicitation from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) reveals that the agency is seeking a "massive" online database capable of pulling up individuals' personal information, connections and associates.

On March 28, ATF posted the notice on FedBizOpps.gov, entitled "Investigative System." The solicitation was updated on April 5 with a few minor changes.

The document says that the system will be utilized by staff "to provide rapid searches on various entities for example; names, telephone numbers, utility data and reverse phone look-ups, as a means to assist with investigations, and background research on people, assets and businesses."

The system is described as a "massive online data repository system that contains a wide variety of data sources both historically and current that can be utilized in support of investigations and backgrounds."

The overview of the solicitation states:

Staff will utilize "a number of internal databases as well as external sources to provide timely and relevant information and intelligence products to law enforcement agencies at the federal, state and local levels."

The system "provides a means to rapidly check records across the country" and is "necessary in assisting investigators, agents and analyst to find people, their assets, relatives, associates and more."

The ATF says they will use this system to provide information to Intelligence Analysts, Special Agents, Inspectors, Financial Investigators and Law Enforcement.

The investigative system will allow ATF to "obtain exact matches from partial source data searches such as, incomplete social security numbers, address, VIN numbers, etc."

The system will also have the ability to "link structured and unstructured data to find connection points between two or more individuals."

So an agency of the government can go half-assed into everyone's personal information just because. Remember these are the same folks who murdered quite a few people AND CHILDREN at Waco and did a wonderful job assisting the murder of some at Ruby Ridge. Not saying that it was all their fault but it shows a rather sad profile for just this one group of idiot feds. Isn't it amazing though when 20 children die in Sandy Hook the government goes completely nuts over gun control--when almost 100 children died at Waco, it was just a footnote in history. In Germany 1930 they had a similar group in the government who watched over the populace and did whatever they want--they were called THE GESTAPO. In Germany 1930 they had a narcissistic leader who was wrapped up in his own destiny regardless of any of his citizens--HIS NAME WAS HITLER. Here in the US we have the ATF, the FBI and every other banner under our own Himmler and his name is Holder. We also have our own Hitler and his name is OBAMA. Am I crazy? I sure hope so but none of this and every outrage, everyday from this bunch of terrorists does not surprise me anymore.

Biden Calls for a New World Order

Infowars.com
April 6, 2013

Vice President Joe Biden threw caution to the wind Friday as he shockingly declared, “The affirmative task we have now is to actually create a new world order,” adding yet another admission to an already long list of documented globalist bragging of plans for a centralized, one-world global government.

At the Export Import Bank conference in Washington, Biden stated, “The affirmative task we have now is to actually create a new world order, because the global order is changing again, and the institutions of the world worked so well in the post-World War II era for decades, they need to be strengthened, and some need to be changed.”

We are being constantly bombarded by braggart messages of the globalists’ conquest, all while citizens of certain countries have their savings funds looted and millions upon millions live in absolute destitution.

Even cable news networks like CNBC have had to admit to the global governance takeover engineered by elite offshore banking cartels:

The establishment media aids by simultaneously denying the existence of a so-called “new world order,” flagging any mention of the notion a “conspiracy theory,” effectively demonizing and suppressing all opposition.

Conn. lawmaker: New state gun laws a ‘foundation’ for nation

By Kyle Balluck - 04/06/13 10:18 AM ET

Rep. Elizabeth Esty (D-Conn.) is calling her state’s new gun laws, including bans of some weapons and high-capacity magazines, a “great package of reforms” that are the “foundation of what we must have at national level.”

Speaking Friday evening on MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” Esty said it was heartening to see bipartisan support in a “big gun state.”

“I`ve been able to engage gun owners in my district who are highly supportive, particularly around universal criminal background checks for all sales and around federal felonies for trafficking and straw purchasing. They know they are essential tools for law enforcement. And face it, Rachel, if we are going to keep guns out of hands of the criminals, we have to ask who these people are when they are buying guns. It just makes sense.”

Esty said it would have been difficult for Republican state lawmakers, many of whom knew victims of the attack in Newtown, to vote against measures such as the high-capacity magazine ban.

“Eleven lives were saved by the real-life example of what happens when you run out of bullets in a magazine and in a chamber. It has real-life consequences. And so, how could those legislators look them in the eye and say, ‘I`m not doing everything I possibly can so save another family, another community from this sort of heartache?' ”

Earlier this week, National Rifle Association vice president Wayne LaPierre that there was no evidence smaller magazines would have resulted in fewer deaths at Sandy Hook Elementary School, where 20 children and six educators were killed.

“People that know guns — you can change magazine clips in a second,” LaPierre told Fox News.

President Obama, who will travel to Connecticut on Monday to continue to push for gun control legislation, told donors on Thursday in California that it's "going to be tougher" to push through a gun control measure than immigration reform in coming months.

Obama made the comments a day after delivering a speech in Colorado — just miles from a movie theater where a lone gunmen killed 12 people and injured dozens of others last July — where he said gun reform is necessary to stop an epidemic of mass shootings.

"If these reforms keep one person from murdering dozens of innocent children or worshipers or movie-goers in the span of minutes, isn't it worth fighting for?"

Feds Identify 300,000 Americans as Terrorists
Link Removed

Do you hate paying taxes? Are you fighting foreclosure? Do you feel like no one should be allowed to commit violence against you and don’t always blindly follow the commands of the authorities? Do you film encounters with police or believe gold makes better currency than Federal Reserve Notes? Well you might be part of a domestic terrorism movement and not even know it.

On Friday, the Los Angeles Times posted an article attempting to define a domestic terrorist movement consisting of as many as 300,000 Americans. Some are even labeled as non-violent “paper terrorists”.

Is there a more Orwellian term than “non-violent terrorist”? If you can think of one please share it in the comments below.

They refer to this so-called terror group as “sovereigns, zealots who refuse to recognize government authority in virtually any form.”

When attempting to further define and identify individuals in this movement, some very broad and dangerous stereotypes appear.

“Sovereigns believe U.S. currency has no value but recognize precious metals as valid currency,” wrote the LA Times, much like the US Constitution does.

“A central tenet of the sovereigns movement is that its adherents believe they owe no income taxes,” also much like the Constitution forbids.

What’s more, federal and state law enforcement are being trained that anyone who disobeys their commands falls into this terrorist movement and may pose a violent threat to them.

“Sovereign citizens are more likely not to obey their commands and more likely to commit violence during a traffic stop,” said Detective Rob Finch who’s made a cottage industry of anti-sovereigns police training.

“They refuse to recognize your authority, and that creates a dangerous situation,” Finch emphasized.

The LA Times piece points to a handful of colorful examples of people who defended themselves against police aggression, or who were plain crazy, as to why the movement should be considered violent.

But they don’t stop there. The FBI has even invented a new form of terrorism committed by nonviolent sovereigns called “paper terrorism”.

Even nonviolent sovereigns can cause headaches through what Finch calls “paper terrorism.” Some squat in foreclosed homes and file phony deeds claiming ownership, “paying” with photos of silver dollars.

Who knew fighting foreclosure was a form of terrorism? Paying taxes and mortgages with hand-written notes and photos is just funny, not really a threat to anyone.

However, self-described “sovereign citizen” James Turner faces ”a potential maximum prison term of 164 years, a maximum potential fine of $2,350,000, and mandatory restitution” to the state for the nonviolent act of paper terrorism.

A blog for law officers, PoliceOne.com, also tries to help cops identify sovereign citizens, saying they’ll ”likely to be argumentative with police authorities…may attempt to videotape your encounter…may refuse to give you their name or documents…”

To his credit, the article’s author states that the “Sovereign Citizen movement is not an organized civil or criminal enterprise. It’s a fractured series of loosely affiliated individuals who adhere to anti-government ideologies.”

It should be noted that the Feds and local law enforcement all received these characteristics and tactics from one original source: The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). The SPLC has been on a publicly-funded partisan crusade to demonize so-called rightwing or patriotic extremists.

In 2010, SPLC put together a short documentary about “sovereign citizens” and the threat they supposedly pose. To help identify potential sovereigns, they warn about certain bumper stickers and challenges to authority in a professionally produced propaganda video.

Significantly, the video below has three times as many down-votes on YouTube as up-votes. Watch it below:

Many believe that SPLC gets paid to make mountains out of mole hills to keep the terror-industrial complex thriving. After all, when are bumper stickers and paperwork a threat to anyone? And only an extreme minority react defensively when they are threatened by men in costumes they don’t worship as authority.

What’s confusing is that either those who would try to lump people with these characteristics into a collective group are either operating out of ignorance or with an agenda, or a little of both. The adjective “sovereign” when referring to a citizen or a state is defined as “enjoying autonomy, or independence”.

The most extreme sovereigns would certainly not adhere to the authority of any collective that aims to define them as a group. And just because one person who adopts this philosophy ends up shooting a cop, doesn’t mean all people who hate taxes or fight foreclosure are violent threats. To think otherwise smacks of a demonization agenda, nothing more.

The few examples of “terrorists” who committed violence are used as examples in every single article about Sovereign Citizens clearly aiming to smear the entire ideology as inherently violent. Yet, in every case, who initiated force against whom?

Some may argue that if an armed stranger forced you to pull over your car, or demanded entry into your home at the threat of shooting you or putting you in a cage, it could be considered an act of aggression or violence against you as a free and sovereign human no matter what assumed authority the aggressors think they possess. Strip away labels and you are defined by your actions. What does that say about actions of the cops or the feds?

Is that really too complicated to add to these articles? The problem with doing that of course is that too many people may then sympathize with these people and the label of terrorist may not stick very well. In fact, it may expose the entire war on terror as a complete fraud, looking under cracks for perceived threats against people who just want to be left alone.

It’s unclear where the Feds came up with number 300,000 for potential terrorists wrapped in this label, but the number may not even be half of it. Now, anyone who protests the government can be considered anti-government which is also now considered domestic terrorism. And, apparently, everyone fighting the banks in foreclosure with creative paperwork are also terrorists.

This begs the question, who isn’t a terrorist?

If the fraudulent banks and the guys with the badges, guns, armored vehicles, drones, surveillance equipment, and torture cages are the good guys in this plot, while foreclosure victims and advocates of individual liberty are terrorists, our society is in very big trouble.

A POWERFUL 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck early in eastern Russia near the border with China and North Korea, the US Geological Survey said.
The Chart: http://resources3.news.com.au/images...earthquake.jpg

The epicentre of the quake, which struck at 1300 GMT Friday, was southwest of Vladivostok, around nine kilometers from the Russian border town of Zarubino, at a depth of 561 kilometres, the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the quake, which struck seconds after 12am Saturday local time.

A 6.1-magnitude quake struck Russia’s far east last month, and a 6.9 quake rocked the region in February. Neither caused significant damage.

An underground formation in the area known as the Kuril-Kamchatka arc is considered one of the most seismically active regions in the world.

Since 1900, seven powerful earthquakes of magnitude 8.3 or greater have occurred along the arc, according to the USGS.
