About how much do the Shield 9mm go for?

I paid $440 for my shield here in LA.

Yes, at my local Gun Store the M&P Shield in 9mm and .40 are the same price. I already have a Glock 23 that I love, that is why I went with the 9mm.

The California compliant Shields are more expensive than the standard ones due to the additional pop-up loaded chamber indicator. I have noticed that the .40 are cheaper than the 9mm which are more popular. Prices driven by supply and demand. I am looking for a Standard 9mm Shield here in rural Oregon for $400 or less, but may have to order online.

I've been renting 9mm to see what I want to go with now, I rented the G19 the 26 so next it will be the Shield and the XDm to see want feel good to me.
