XDS recall?

Can someone please tell me why Springfield Armory did not pull all UNSOLD inventory back for the recall? I saw well over 12 XDS 45cal and 9mm. at the last gun show in Las Vegas, which are in the serial number range of the guns needing repair. It might be different if the Springfield Armory would repair the guns in a timely manner but I'm waiting now into the third week and no word about my gun.

Springfield is just a no class operation that has no respect or regard for their customers. Maybe a few more people can put two and two together and purchase from other companies.

Springfield XD-S

Springfield Armory is recalling certain serial number runs of both the 9mm and .45 ACP versions of the XD-S pistol. These pistols have the potential to unintentionally discharge or to fire more than one cartridge with a single trigger pull.

Springfield Armory set up a site to assist owners with returning pistols for the upgrades here.

There's a small roll pin on the grip safety on the one's that have been repaired.

As a reseller at a gun show, would you rather... Make money from a sale? Or, dissuade people from purchasing any gun from you by posting a sign about a recalled firearm?

While not entirely truthful out moral practice, they aren't doing anything wrong...they are simply making money from a slightly less informed community.

That is the dealer that owns the guns, not SA. Just like some car dealers will sell flood cars as new.
