XD 45 Holster

New to the forum and have been looking around to get ideas for a OWB holster for a 4" XD45 that I just bought for concealed carry. I don't want to break the bank on a quality holster but want a leather RH holster that is durable and fits the gun easily while comfortable to carry. I am strongly considering models like the JAK Slide (use similar for my 5" 1911, but from Dillon). I am a good sized guy so an IWB is not really comfortable to me. What does the population think of Galco or Don Hume products? Thanks for the info,

I have both Galco and Don Hume for my XD45 Tactical (5"). I paid less for the Don Hume and I swear it is twice the holster. More leather, more sturdy. It's OWB thumb-snap and rides close to the body. Some people love 'em, but I will never buy another Galco. Just way overpriced for what you get IMHO.

I have a don hume pancake holster for my xdm that is very comfortable and the gun will not come out unless you pull it at the right angle. Galco makes some good ones obviously but I've never used an owb of theirs. Hope this helps

My brother carries his xd 45 in a galco He loves it he claims. I have no personal experience.

I have been using the Bianchi carrylok for my XD45. I also have the same for the 1911.

Thanks for the responses......I can get Galco at discou t prices where I live, but I hate paying inflated prices for average product. Humes sounds good, but having never seen one, I am not sure of the workmanship for the price.
