Bloomberg can feel happy that there wasn't a gun used here. Mayor Mike will ban gasoline if this happens too often. Beware, after this term he is looking for a post in the Obama cabinet.

This is a crying shame. The progressive liberal bed wetting bleeding hearts will no doubt be there to protect this dirt bag. I'm sure he had an abusive childhood and he was most likely high on so drug so the poor devil did know he was doing anything wrong. We must all under stand his plight. The victim, well she was in the wrong place, too bad. And were are these police that are here to protect us so we don't have to. Oh that's right they are just minutes away. I'll say it again elections mean something, wake up voters.

I think if it happened to me, I would take my chances and unload the magazine into him. At the very least I'd charge him and hang on to him so we'd both go.

why do you thin the etnicity of the woman and man are being censored...This was nothing more than an honor killing. they are becoming more and more common in America as the muslim population grows.

I am not sure the police can handle the mess that they will have on their hands when the unemployment runs out in mass. I never got a dime of it *grumble* but there are a lot of angry people that are being kept at bay by the federally subsidized placation money. This kind of junk is happening more and more, in Kansas City, Mo. they found an elderly woman that had been raped for hours in her own apartment.

I am all about gun rights and my heart goes out to the victim and her family but my only issue is with the response on this site. Just because she was not allowed to carry a gun, the results would have been different. A gun is not the ultimate protector that it is made out to be. I would think the majority of criminal assault would not have turned out different with or without a gun. Having a gun only saves you in certain types of crimes if you have enough time to use it. I will now open this up to everyone who disagrees.
 
The worst thing of all others call us (as in gun owners and people who carry) the crazy ones for being prepared if something were like this were to happen to one of us. People need to open their ******* eyes to the world, and stop sugar coating it for themselves, to feel safe.

Grow up troll. The last thing law abiding gun owners need is a fool blaming someone other than the perp for this crime. Bloomberg may be a constitution hating idiot, (he is) but to blame him for a crime like this is ridiculous. Blame one person, the perp, period. I know, that is not politically correct enough for you to blame only the perp. Tough ****. That is where the blame lies.

Even if the shot goes wide and misses the attacker in most civilized parts of American cities(I know there are cities where a gunshot doesn't raise an eyebrow) a gun shot will draw attention. Even if nobody saves me I would like somebody to witness the attackers making a get away or calling 911 to have police investigate. This is my beef with rape whistles; I hear a whistle blowing and then stop my first thought is "Thank God they stopped blowing that d*mn whistle." A gunshot gets my immediate and undivided attention.
