Would you support a ban on hand guns?

Voted and left comment. I spent some time reading some of the anti's loony comments. They don't have a clue!
 
I support a gun ban.

No left leaning, socialism supporting Obama agenda embracing, Constitution ignoring, Rights trampling liberal ought to have a gun...:mad:

Ah, but there are people out there that are left leaning socialist Obama supporters that like the US Constitution and rights defined in it, including gun rights.
Are you suggesting that people that don't agree with you don't get to have guns?

What you just stated make absolutely no since at all!! You can't have it both ways!! He is not suggesting agreement you are.
 
Comment left and opposed. "If we're going to rationalize banning something in order to save lives, how about we ban something that kills lots of more people every year? Like cars. After all, the government needs to ban things to protect people from themselves."

Voted and commented " A ban is not in standing with the Constitution of the United States". Don't violate my rights!
 
I consider myself a Democrat who voted for Obama and supports proper gun ownership and responsibility. If a vote came to the public for the banning of guns I would vote against it and would sign any petition concerning the banning of guns. I would never support the ban of guns, within reason.

Now here is the part that I usually get in trouble for. I HIGHLY doubt that a ban on guns will happen in my life time (for the record I was born in 1986). While anything is possible this is what the Supreme Court is for. They are to look over the laws and rule on them based on their Constitutional Merit. I also believe that if a gun ban would happen, it would be passed by a Republican President, in order to secure the borders and to ensure proper security. My reason for this is the only people who put up a fight about me carrying a gun are the republicans in my area. Democrats have bigger fish to fry.:biggrin:

Don't rely on the Supreme Court, the left wing has been loading the court for years with anti-gun progressives they will not stand up for your rights when the UN bands us from having any firearms at all!
 
I know one thing about gun control. If there's only one gun around, I want to be in control of it. :laugh:
 
I've always had it the other way around in my mind. All those people who don't own guns and are always calling the cops to come protect them... THEY should pay a user fee for the police services, OR be required to own a gun.

I too was born in 86. Glad to see you do get out in vote...many people our age don't give a damn. I did not vote for Obama however.

To me, a ban would come from a dem.....In my opinion, baning our firearms would do nothing to secure borders....which is why it would could from a dem :)

Applying logic to the above statement:
If supporting the Constitution and individual rights as outlined in the Bill of Rights you would not be supporting Obama and the current rights trampling administration and you would be far from left leaning. If the people you write about truly love freedom and the Constitution including the Bill of Rights and they were logical thinkers, they would NOT be supporting this administration's agenda. Supporting this administrations agenda would be akin to sewing seeds with salt to fertilize them...

So by that logic, if you are supporting the liberals and Obama's agenda... NO GUNS...
