I can and do: my favorite carry 22 is my NAA Black Widow with 22 Magnum 45grain Hornady FTX ammo. It's a five shot revolver. The drawback, once your 5th round is expended, you are going to need cover if you have to reload. You must remove the cylinder to reload. You could just load a preloaded cylinder that was timed to this gun or just use the 22LR cylinder preloaded, but still must pop out the empty one. For a warm weather pocket gun, they don't get much lighter or smaller; my Black Widow has a 2" barrel, adjustable sight, weighs about 9 1/2oz. fully loaded and is 5 3/4" long; you can get a 1" barrel version PUG (not the Black Widow) that weighs about 7 1/2 oz. fully loaded and is only 4 1/2" long. That is a tiny gun with a decent punch for it's size! Great boot gun, shirt pocket, small purse or shorts pocket. You can even get a belt buckle version : )
