Would you carry a 22?

I often carry a PMR30 (22 magnum). It will do the job. 31 rounds of 22 magnum are just fine for self defense. It is light, reliable, and accurate.

Actually jusxboxin he was killed by a 6.5x52 Italian rifle but the .22 Is a good round I use it when I do alot of target shooting got the conversions for my rifles

The .22 killed JFK I think so it's a deadly round

You KNOW this this do you .......

I carried a little 22 for quite a while. An Iver Johnson TP22(copy of Walther PP in 22lr) in an ankle holster was totally concealed. Never had to use it on a human but it terminated several 4 legged varmints. Had it in my hand the afternoon a couple of teenaged hoodlums decided they wanted to drive my Jeep. That was enough that day.

I carry a North American Arms 22 magnum mini-revolver. It also has a conversion cylinder for shooting 22 LR. It is effective within the self defence range. I practice with it regularly. Many people ridicule carrying a 22 but the 22 with you beats the 44 at home. A bigger gun has more recoil and therefore more recovery time between shots. Also IF you can NOT hit what you are shooting at with a bigger gun what good is it? By the way Ive been licensed to carry for many many years.

i used to have a remington .22 back in the late 70s friend gave it to me it was really small when i left my husband i left almost everything i had had my son in my arms a few dollars in my pocket and walked out not sure what happened to that lil gun but if i had it today i would definitely carry it it sure would be easy to conceal but i'd use it as a pocket back up most likely dang i forgot i had that thing wished i still had it it was a little derringer model it was an old gun probably a collectible by now

No.

I've had far too many .22 rounds that didn't go BANG! when I dropped the hammer to trust my life to one.

Now I did not say I would carry one for a main carry piece, I said I had one, and I do carry it from time to time, but along with it is generaly a 45 and a 9mm or 40, and maybe a 380 for good measure

With my Mark III Ruger 22 I could shoot a smiley face into the BG's forehead from quite a distance. But, its kinda big to carry so I carry my LCP. 380 most of the time. Its not as accurate but it do the job.

Yep, a quality revolver... doesn't matter what make.

I wouldn't prefer an auto .22, an auto .25acp yes. Generally, centerfire will be more reliable... generally.

Since we passed our open carry law here in OK I might have to have one of those North American Arms belt buckle/22mag of course it's kind of over the top as far as belt buckles go. But I have always wanted one of the micro's.. They're just cool
