Worst gun of all time

Sig Mosquito. It misfires, had difficulty loading after each shot, it was bad. Called manufacturer and they agreed to repair and it was sent back in a timely manner, but just recently purchased "factory" mag and it jammed. I'm ready to trade it in on the Sig cash for klunkers program. I prefer shooting the Beretta NEOS and a Ruger the hubby just got.

YOUR USER MANUAL STATES USE CCI AMMO.CHEAP AMMO WONT WORK WELL.:sarcastic:

I have the beretta neos u22 and i love it . It was my first handgun and it wont be the last

My experience with Llama firearms has been, shall we say less than stellar. Of the four that I’ve owned (none was a Mini max although one is a micro max) I have experienced major mechanical defects in two of them, including one catastrophic failure in which the gun literally fell apart while I was firing it. The two that didn’t give me fits (or blow up in my hand) were, in my opinion, of poor quality and cheaply made. I found parts and extra magazines difficult to come by and very costly. I wouldn’t purchase a Llama at any price. And I wouldn't trust my life to one unless I had absolutely no other option (think pointy stick) as always YMMV

I've only had 1 real lemon, and one that was just annoying. The lemon was a keltec 3at(?) the little 380, over 500 rds and still would not go through a mag without a ftf! I traded it for a sw 38sp. Way better back up gun!
The other one was my taurus 92. Great gun just shot consistently low and to the right.

Kel Tec 380 is the worse gun on the market!!!!

KEL TEC 380----- A piece a junk!!!!

Most of the posters on here have noted the problems and have expounded on why the gun that they are posting about is their "Worst Gun of all time". There have been some people I've seen online that have had issues with the Kel Tec P-3at, but the people I know personally that own one have not. I have had over 500 flawless rounds through the one I bought new. If you have an issue, what was it? Extractor problems? FTF? Stovepipes? Did you try to get it fixed? Did you call Kel Tec? If you did, what did they say?

Give us a little more info to go on.

You buy enough guns, you get a lemon,, I recently shot over 400 rounds through a Stoeger 8000 and every other round failed to chamber correctly, tried 3 different brands of ammo, same problem. Own a Stoeger 8040, nevr had a hiccup.

I bought a SIG Mosquito and have only put 350rds through it. It had it's share of FtF & FtE, like the internet reviews say... but, I know that there are a few things you can do for it to help it's operation. One is just to shoot it often, put a few thousand rounds through it and the other is to polish the feed ramp. If you are not a gunsmith or at least have good working knowledge of firearms & gunsmithing just take it to a gunsmith.

I plan to run as many rounds through it a possible. I've heard and read from some reviews that somewhere around the 3500-4000rd mark, along with a polished feed ramp the gun works like a champ. With give or take 1-2 rounds jamming in 100rds fired. This may not be worth it to some people but it's alright with me.

I own one Llama and actually like it. It's a baby 1911 in .380acp. It's older than I am I think, it's been passed through the family. It started having feeding problems last year, so I grinded the feed ramp down and polished it up nice. Since then it runs like a champ! If I had to estimate, this little .380 has had somewhere around 5000-6000rds through it! That's a lot! It's still tickin' too!

I own a Browning Hi-Power clone, the Arcus 98DAC 9mm. To this day, after about a year of ownership and 750rds(ish) through it... it's one of the BEST pistols I've ever bought! Not one single jam! Ever! For a $300 gun from Bulgaria, it's a sleeper for sure. If you ever get the chance to pick one up, take a chance and try it.

not sure if I'd call it the worst gun ever, but I watched the cylinder fall off of a Taurus snubbie at a gun store before... Decided I wasn't too interested in that gun anymore.

Ref: to fire and due to that I am not going to sell it and get someone hurt with this POS. I have seen many cheap pistols, but I have never seen one as dangerous as that one.

THE PERFECT pistol to sell in the next community gun buy-back!!!!

Worst gun I own is this R&J .38 special snub nose. It has 2 broken springs in and talked to alot of gunsmiths about it, they told me my best bet is to throw it away. Hell one of the indoor ranges will not even let me bring bring it there to shoot even if its fixed. Apparently there is an issue where the cylinders fail and the gun basically explodes in your hand.

My Hi Power is as old as I am, had probably close to 25000 (yes 25K)rounds put through it and only had one reverse stove pipe (not counting the click from crappy cheap ammo); the first casing bounced off the stall wall next to me and the range and dropped back into the chamber as the gun was cycling for the second round of a double tap. The range master actually watched it happen and I heard the intercom go off after it with him just laughing.

Update to my Sig Misquito.

I've put about 1000rds through it of Winchester bulk, CCI Stinger, and CCI Velociter. It prefers the CCI Stinger and Velociter, I have assesed b/c of the hotter rounds pushing the slide rearward at a faster rate... thus improving function. Very few jams(FTE-FTF)with that ammo, it still functions pretty well with the Winchester bulk pack ammo... usually 1 malfuction every 20rds or so.

Overall, not the best gun I've owned... but not the worst either. It just needs some breaking in and the correct ammo.

For me personally, its the phoenix hp22. Worked great for that long, then it jammed and locked up the hammer. It would free up after clearing the slide or even overnight. Total garbage in my opinion.

WOW!
I've seen Taurus, Glock, Jennings, Lorcin, Rohm, Keltec, Sig, Jimenez, SCCY, etc....mentioned in this thread. I don't think every gun mentioned here is junk. I understand that these mechanical wonders we are so fond of, are the creation of man. Still today with all the technological advancements in manufacturing; we don't have a firearms manufacturer who has not had a gun returned to them for one reason or another?

Even the high-end gun manufacturers have returns. You think Kimber, or Wilson Combat don't have guns returned to them for repairs? Here's a better example: Harley Davidson, Ford, and Barrett Firearms. All three of these companies are reputable, and popular in their industry. Yet all three have service departments.

One of my buddies has a Jennings 9mm. Shoots just fine. I've had two Hi-Point pistols and a 9mm carbine. All shot great! It's heavy, not a gun I would carry everyday. But it shoots great! Yet, for years now, I've heard people say they are junk? I disagree. I think they're built like tanks! Heavy but accurate shooters as far as I'm concerned.

Pistols in my opinion are just like any other mechanical products we buy everyday. They are only as good as the manufacturing and quality control process is for each manufacturer. With that being said, I'll do as many of you do. Research the firearm, put my hands on one, fire it if I can, and make up my own mind about the gun before I listen to a few forum postings that degrade it. Reputation in the firearm industry is everything. And I'm not afraid to give a new gun manufacturer a try. I just bought the SCCY CPX-2 9mm. It's not a Glock, Sig, or Ruger, but it's been a great little shooter so far. Do I think it's the best? Ofcourse not. But for the price, I'm happy that I bought one. I have Rugers and I love them. I've had S&W in the past, and loved it. But it was that unpopular Hi-Point that everybody made jokes about that I love the best. Why? Because they make great little guns, and they stand behind their products with a lifetime warranty. But the best part is the price. $130-$180 for a gun I know goes bang everytime I pull the trigger. Makes me feel foolish for spending the money for that high end S&W, that doesn't do anything better than the Hi-Point? To each his own, but I purchase firearms to get the job done for the best value. And I will never spend $1000 on a pistol. I have a hard time coming to terms with buying one for $500! I'm not a gun collector, so resale value doesn't really mean much to me. I'm not a gun shop that sells my guns. I keep them, for something to pass on to my kids. I have some $500 guns, but it's the industry cheapos that have continued to perform for me just fine. Heritage, Taurus, SCCY, Hi-Point, kel-tec, etc...all great guns as far as I'm concerned.

Okay, years ago, I had a Harrington & Richardson 922 9-shot .22 revolver. It was terrible. Shot every time, but always up and to the left. Nothing we could do would fix it.

just got done reading all the replies and glad to see no one complained about a browning dba 380 which is the only gun i have
i haven't shot it in years and only did about 3 mags full when i did and it seemed ok as far as i can remember.
i will be taking it to a range in the near future to get more comfortable with it esp if it's going to be my carry gun once i get my ccwp

I had a KelTec P-32 that went home to the factory 2 times within 4 months. First time they gave me a new gun with a new serial number. Second time it came back, it was sold. Never again will I own a KelTec.

And today, just got off the phone with Ruger. My LC9 is going on a three week vacation to Arizona. And ONLY 3600 rounds through it since January, 2012.

Turned out to be a broken slide stop. 7 day turn around from shipped to repaired.

I am rough on my toys.

Diamondback DB380, I wanted more than anything to like this gun and I gave it over 400 rounds before giving up and selling it. Went through calls with customer service trying to fix first the feed problems and then trigger reset issues. Not willing to trust my life on an unreliable carry gun that has to be tweaked to function.
