Link Removed They got a trial and they lost. I also wonder if the prosecution will now release the evidence they got off of his phone that was refused to be omitted in court.
First Casey Anthony's daughter, and now Trayvon Martin. That now makes two children who have been failed by the justice system in the state of Florida in less than two years.

As I recall, there wasn't any evidence that Caylee Anthony was unlawfully beating up Casey Anthony.
Are you going to reference that quote?First Casey Anthony's daughter, and now Trayvon Martin. That now makes two children who have been failed by the justice system in the state of Florida in less than two years.

Not at all. But injustice is still injustice regardless.

So for you to believe that Zimmerman did the right thing, what would it take? Zimmerman's funeral and Trayvon Martin's murder trial? I can't stand everyone saying "Zimmerman's injuries weren't consistent with a life or death situation..." Well no crap! If they were, he would have most likely been too incapacitated to defend his life. How long is someone supposed to take a beating before they can legally defend themselves?Your version of events, just because it matches the jury's, doesn't make it the "truth." The only "truth" is that Martin and Zimmerman are the only two who really know what happened, and because Martin is dead, we got only one side of the story, point blank period.

Hang up with the girl and call the cops as GZ did for one. And as I asked before, I never did hear if TM had any injuries on his face or body indicating that GZ hit him at all.And how else should Trayvon have responded to being followed in the darkness by a stranger whose intentions he wasn't able to ascertain?

What would it take for me to believe Zimmerman did the right thing? Well gee, that's a loaded question! I saw the proceedings and came to my own conclusion, just as I'm sure you saw them and came to your own. Based on the testimony I saw, George Zimmerman was wrong and the jury got this wrong.

If you actually watched the trial, you'd know that it was about the biggest circus and so skewed against Zimmerman it wasn't even funny. My Criminal Justice professor even jokingly commented "I didn't know the judge was allowed to take sides." That judge created so much reversible error during the trial, it wouldn't have mattered if they did get a guilty verdict, he could have easily gotten it reversed on appeal. And how else should Trayvon have responded to being followed in the darkness by a stranger whose intentions he wasn't able to ascertain?

They got his own college professor to testify against him by talking about how familiar Zimmerman was with Florida's stand your ground law. Since when is being familiar with the law a crime? The judge persistently tried to persuade Zimmerman to take the stand, which would have made him a witness against himself, all while his attorney is steadily objecting her wishes. Since when is the judge supposed to provide the defendant with legal counsel? That's just a small bit of what I saw that I thought was a joke. No, everyone seems to think that it's impossible that George Zimmerman could be guilty, and because I have dared to challenge that, you believe that I believe that I can do no wrong. I have my position, you guys have yours. Respect mine and I'll respect yours.
