Wolff Springs on the Taurus Model 85

I am wondering who has used the Wolff Spring kit on the Taurus Model 85? If so what was your experience? I just bought the Taurus and seems like squeezing the trigger takes superhuman strength and I'm afraid that my wife won't be able to use it. I ordered the springs from Wolff but don't know much about them.

From what i can read is it drops the trigger spring down to 6.5lbs and the hammer spring down to 9lbs. I'm not sure what it is right now but I'm going out on a limb and say it is way more. Any info would be appreciated....

Never owned a Taurus and never wish to own a Taurus but I have used the wolff springs. I heard fairly rave reviews about them so I bought a set for my M&P 340 hoping to reduce the pull for the stock 13-14lb trigger. However, even with a thorough stone and polish, and the supposedly reduced power springs my trigger only came down to about 12.7lbs. I've heard of people getting it down to 9lbs with them but I wasn't able to achieve that. However, since the spring kit only cost like $5, no harm no foul. For that price you might as well give it a shot.

I'm not trying to be a jerk Cool... but didn't you say you were waiting for your XDs from the recall and one of your complaints for them taking so long is you didn't have another firearm and couldn't afford to get another one? When did you get the Taurus? Do you like it?
