Wisconsin Supreme Court Strikes Down Madison Bus Gun Ban

"As the owner of these buses, we believe that we've got the right to control behavior on them," Soglin told The Capital Times. "We've got the right to control whether people play loud music, bring on dangerous animals and we see it to be perfectly within our rights as property owners to be able to regulate firearms and knives for that matter."

Someone needs to tell the mayor that the city bus system is paid for by taxpayers. If he wants to own a bus then he can go out and buy one with his own money - not the taxpayers' money. And taxpayer Joe Smith should have just as much right to exercise his 2nd Amendment right to carry his lawfully possessed firearm that he has even gone through the un-Constitutional hoops of getting the government's permission to carry as a black person has to exercise their civil rights to sit wherever they want to on the same bus.
