Calling all instructors! We're launching a new book promotion, this time for instructors only. Instead of entering for a chance to win one book, this is a chance to win a full case (20 copies) of Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. At the cover price, that's a $539 value, and if you turn around and sell the books to your students for even $20 each, you'll pocket $400. Hey, that's just about enough to buy a new iPad so that you can download our iPad edition! You'll find all the details on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/KeyHousePress

Once you're on our page, select the "Instructor Sweepstakes" tab. You'll notice that you'll increase your chances of winning by referring other instructors to the promotion—for every referred instructor who also enters, you'll get two extra points toward the drawing. As an example, if you refer ten other instructors who also enter, you'll be 21-times more likely to win the drawing than an instructor who has referred no other instructors. Drawing will be held on July 31 at 5:00 central!

You are very welcome! Glad to hear you like it, and let your family and friends know where they can pick up their own copy :). I started wearing reading glasses myself a couple years back, and I think that's affected how I lay my books and other materials out! I promise not to keep making the font larger and larger the older I get.

if i see my sons friend who is swat trained too again i will let him know about your book deal on this thread he did seem interested in the book and i told him he could read it when we were done........he may want to sell it or give them to his employees........i'll let you know when i know but i'll be out of town for a while........

of it's not a substitute for real training but it is full of good training ideas you can practice at your own pace and space and other good information and still a great read and i'm sure the author knows it's no substitute for hands on training but wrote it as a guide and a good one i think all newbies to conceal carry should read imo

Not to crush this guys thunder BUT book reading is no substitute for real training.

Yup, I'd agree, in fact in the last chapter, "Basic and Advanced Skills," I make that same statement, almost verbatim: "Of course, it’s fair to say that simply reading about those skills from any book won’t do a thing for you; it’s repeated and consistent practice that will build those skills into your neural pathways."

As you could probably tell from my original post, most of our business is done with training organizations, who use the book and/or our other materials as part of their classes. Whether the student reads the book before class or after class, it reinforces what they heard from their instructor. If any of you read the Concealed Carry Report, Cody Alderson probably described where the book might fit into an overall plan, better than I could have done. Here's what he had to say in the report: Link Removed

Hey everyone, just in case you're not a Facebook user, I've modified the drawing so that anyone can register, even if you don't have a Facebook account. There is a little over two weeks before the drawing, so if you didn't register before because you didn't have a Facebook account, now's your chance! Just go to our Facebook page, and select the "Instructor Sweepstake" tab near the top of the page: http://www.facebook.com/KeyHousePress
