I used to like Wilson Combat but after I posted on their link to sell new 30 rd mags on how I could not support them as they sold to local governments that restricted civilian's from owning the same hardware they blocked me from any further posts and deleted my post. Here is the note they post at the bottom of the Mag order spot:

NOTE: Not available for shipment to: CA, HI, MA, MD, NJ, NY or Washington DC and may be restricted in other local jurisdictions. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of and abide by all applicable local laws. Law Enforcement agencies in these states may purchase these magazines with a department letterhead purchase order. Check your local city, county and state laws before ordering.

They will not be getting any of my business from now on no matter how good there product is. Greed is a sad thing.

I agree. Same with Armalite. As long as they get money they don't care. Not even enough to show support along with the very citizens that are being abused. What they fail to understand is that if they don't take a stand with us, when it's all over, they will have their guns taken away as well.

Interesting thought....

I'm not defending them especially after deleting your post but if they are publicly held they must follow certain guidelines or the could be sued by stockholders.

They are "greedy" because they don't do business in accordance with the political views and demands of someone who tries to hijack their thread?

It's fairly obvious there are some manufacturer's who are in bed with the powerful elite, rather than the unwashed masses.

I was not trying to hijack their thread, where are you getting off? I was making a comment that I would not do business with them anymore because of the stance that they would sell to local governments but not to the local public in certain areas of the country. I am just supporting our second amendment rights and they do not. Look a little deeper!

You have done a lot of posts in a very short time do you have a hidden agenda?

That Wilson Combat makes some of the finest guns around testifies amply to their "support of the 2nd Amendment." To suggest that they don't because they haven't (YET?) embraced the protest method du jour is simplistic and irrational. Each company does what it feels it must do--not necessarily what other gun manufacturers do and definitely not what some internet gun forum types think they have an obligation to do.

It really does sound like you are someone who is not in total support for our second amendment rights and are trying to stir the pot a bit. Maybe I am wrong but that is the perception you are putting forward. I am not someone who is a "far right" thinker or voter but I do believe our freedoms are getting smaller and smaller every year, mainly because of our big cities votes one way and the rest of the greater volume areas vote another way. I do get tired of politicians voting their personal or party way and not the way their constituents want. Time to vote them all out, but most people do not and don't want to think that way. They like being sheep, I don't!

Diver: You are assuming that nosreme is not a true 2d Amendment supporter because he defended Wilson Combat, a company which you seem to think is conducting business contrary to your stand on business sales to government entities. As nosreme said, Wilson Combat may not have followed other companies in their protests methods at the present time but, you don't know their thinking and what course they may persue in the future. Any good business has to take into consideration many things before cutting off a revenue source. Wilson could be contemplating a similar action or, maybe something even more attention getting, but that is a decision they have to make carefully and thoughtfully. Give them time, they might surprise you. As for nosreme making a lot of posts in a short period of time, he seems to have been a member of USACarry since 2009 and, in comparison to others, has made relatively few posts. I don't always agree with his posts but we all express our own opinions and his have not seemed to be anti-2d Amendment to me. Just sayin'..........

My replies to the same nonsensical rant the OP posted in the "off topics" section apply here, too.

New Jersey - -(Ammoland.com)- The newly emerged Firearms Equality Movement is gaining more steam among manufactures and gun rights supporters alike.
The firearms industry, in reaction to the Governor of New York ramming through the NY SAFE Act which banned AR15 style rifles, has seen multiple manufactures revise their firearms sales polices to restrict LEO and Police Agencies from only buying the same level of firepower as is allowed for the average citizen of their state.
Thereby helping to make the citizens equal to police and law enforcement agencies with in the same state, and, in some part, making rouge politicians accountable for their actions trying to disarm the people.
It is important to note that the Movement is not asking industry to join a “conspiracy” but only to make their own sales policies support the right of the individual to keep and bear the same arms as all other classes of people in their respective states. The Firearms Movement is just that, a movement and not collusion, as some have suggested. In the end each and every company is free to do business as they wish.

As of yet we have not seen the big four manufactures, Glock, Sig Saur, Smith & Wesson and Ruger, that supply the majority of police contracts, make the same policy changes but I am still hopeful that they will move to support their biggest customer of all, the American people.

It is great to see manufactures banding together to protect the rights of their customers and hold politicians accountable for their acts disarming the American public.
As this movement evolves I would like to see this become an unsaid blanket policy that apply to all states, especially New Jersey, Maryland, California and anywhere else where honest law abiding citizens right to keep and bear arms of equal fire power as the state the live in.

Yea they came through but I am still blocked on their Facebook page, which I find amusing. I can't find a way with out calling them to ask to get un-blocked. Oh well they still make good equipment.

They have. Please put pressure on the these five manufacturer to join the movement: Colt, Smith&Wesson, Glock, Remington, Sturm Ruger and Sig Suaer.

Who two write:

Glock:
John Dorsey
CFO / VP of Operations
Glock's CEO was indicted and is in prison.

Colt:
Dennis Veilleux
President / CEO

Smith&Wesson
James Debney
President / CEO

Remington
George Kollitides

Also: Chairman / CEO of the Freedom Group

Sturm Ruger
