Wild Boar Hunting.

I want to try wild boar hunting, anyone have any experience with it? Any suggestions and information on places or weapons of choice. Thank you in advance.

TX hog hunting

I just got back from a guided hog hunt in East Texas. When I asked my guide the same question, he said "the bigger, the better." My group of three carried an AR 10 in .308, a Marlin .45-70, and a Ruger .30-06. All worked fine. Shot placement is important, but they don't stand around waiting to be shot. Next year I'm taking my Mossberg 930!
