wifes carry gun? questions also holsters

OK we are reletively new to the carry gun world although not new to the gun world as I am former marine during desert storm. I have my personal carry gun and holsters of my choice for me. I carry a Sig P250 compact 40 cal. also have springfield armory XDM40 4.5. both good guns nothing over the top. wife has ruger SR40 and loves it and shoots it well. does not have carry holster nor a true carry gun. thinking either ruger SR40c or ruger LCP or LC9(althought I really want a 40 caliber gun for her carry) cause in some circumstances a 9mm wont get it done. my thoughts are I want thegun to be small enough for her to conceal but also have the 40 cal rounds in it also her hand is not super small. but not super big either. the ruger sr40 is a perfect fit. also thoughts on carry holsters ? Link Removed is what we are looking at she works in an environment where an in the waist band would be noticed too easily. she is not totally comfortable asking for ideas so I told her I would post to ask.

Just don't let what you want ruin the experience for her. I have a LCP and am thinking about a M&P shield 9mm as a winter carry.

Glock 26, many holsters, fanny packs, and others, the gun shop/sproting goods store, ask the females who work in these stores and if the police/sheriffs/other leos are nice ask for thier input, the ccw folks, the range master, the instructor.

I know it has been a few months since you posted your question and I was wondering how things worked out for your wife. My wife carries the Ruger SR40c with the crossbreed super tuck IWB holster. She likes that particular holster the best so far.
