Why is it...

when I come to this forum there are 20+ old outdated threads reopened??? I can see some but most are so outdated that they don't even apply anymore! :fie:

I would have to guess it's the new members who join and begin reading a thread that was begun 2+ years ago. They add their 2 cents and the next thing ya know, hey its current again..

Like Avid wrote above, let this one set a spell then post on it again in 6-8 months...

Peace...

Maybe Luke could put a time limit on the threads and expire them after so long? Or maybe a warning should come up if you're going to reply to an old thread. That way we don't lose the history of good info but folks realize how old the thread is.

I like the warning idea. something like
"Hey pal, go back and look at the date on the first post in this thread huh".. "You sure you wanna do that huh?" "Gonna get hurt doin that"...
In like a Joe Pesci or Robert De Niro voice...

Peace...

Ah, a new project. I'm going to go looking for old threads to revive. Cheaper than going to the range and less of a chance of catching a virus on Eastern Europe porn sites.
