Remember history is written by those who win. I remember being taught in grade school that Columbus discovered America while looking for a shorter trip to the orient to get spices, cough slaves cough. It's human nature for the weak to be subservient to the strong. Changing history to satisfy the bleeding hearts will not change human nature. This only leads to making the same mistakes of the past. There are times in our history our civilized society turns a blind eye on mans inhumanity to man. Take the middle east. Nobody said it was. I'm well aware of what happened to native Americans. I studied it in college. But the guy with the camera wasn't asking questions about native American studies or revisionist history. He asked what we should teach kindegarteners about Thanksgiving. The holiday is about being thankful for what you have, and originated from celebrations of good harvests. It has nothing to do with genocide, stealing of land or racism, so the people trying to interject those things here are the ones being revisionist, not those of us who are quite correctly pointing out that those topics are off track, both in the video and in this thread.

I must agree with Oldgrunt. I got tired of his screwball view of things and put him on my ignore list. He is my first and only one I have there. I know he probably says that I can not face the truth.
