Why don't new posts show up ,when clicking the new post link

I posted a few times , checked back a few minutes later , clicked new posts, nowhere to be found.

It doesn't show your new posts. It shows threads with new posts.

Assuming you have the standard subscription settings, you can also click "Settings" to see the threads you've posted in before that have new posts in them since the last time you viewed them.
