What is the reasoning? The guy is dead. It 's not like there is an active prosecution.
Is it because the media has the whole county whipped up in frenzy about Bushmaster's so anti AR-15 bills get passed? Then in July we find out the he only had handguns?

Kindly remember that the worst firearm violence incident in this country at Virginia Tech involved a 22, a 9mm and almost all 10 round mags. So much for these "weapons of mass destruction" etal. You are absolutely correct--this is a rallying cry of fanatic gun control vultures feeding off the carcasses of 20 dead children in Ct and has nothing to do with controlling anything other than eventual Federal control and confiscation ALL citizen firearms and elimination of 2A.

was newton a tragedy? yes absolutely,
was it done by a deranged person? absolutely! the question remains why there are many things that have not been reported on?
like his "motive for attacking that particular school.
the suppression of the actual weapons used.
Micheal Moore, wanted evidence released and as much as I think he is a fool, he has a point, why is the evidence locked up?
could the reason be that in good old alinsky fashion the marxists at the helm will not let this crisis pass without them getting something from it? and is that something is a reduction in our rights to own weapons?

The left wing nut jobs like Feinstein and Pelosi want all law abiding citizens disarmed and want nothing in their way. If there is any factual evidence in the New Town tragedy that might block their agenda, they certainly don't want that out. Obama and his cronies have found a way to suppress the main stream media any time they want. He's also done it with Fast & Furious and Benghazi.

  A chilling new perspective on the Link Removedattack that launched the current Link RemovedofLink Removed legislation from New England to Puget Sound suggests that mass murderer Adam Lanza planned the attack for very long time and picked an elementary school because “he felt it was a point of least resistance, where he could rack up the greatest number of kills.”
  
  
  The revelations, reported Sunday and today, bring new insight to a crime that inspired Link Removed across the country, including the Link Removed. Gun legislation has so far failed in Washington, but Oregon lawmakers may still be working on some measures. A proposed semi-auto ban was derailed in Olympia, and a background check bill failed after sponsors Link Removeda cornerstone requirement for gun owner support.

  “He had been planning this thing forever,” the Daily News quoted its source. “In the end, it was just a perfect storm: These guns, one of them an AR-15, in the hands of a violent, insane gamer. It was like porn to a rapist. They feed on it until they go out and say, enough of the video screen. Now I’m actually going to be a hunter.”
  The investigation also allegedly believes that Lanza’s mother became something of an enabler and that she bought guns for him despite his increasing fascination with firearms.
  If the story is accurate, it would suggest that nothing – no new legislation, no waiting period, gun or magazine ban – could have prevented the Connecticut “glory killer” from carrying out his attack.
  In the aftermath, the public is left to grapple with the reality that such attacks may not be preventable, regardless what kind of feel-good legislation is adopted that impacts Link Removed. Wow, now the truth comes out about what weapons and where. For the longest time I could not find anything even remotely official about what tools were used in Sandy Hook Elementary. Now if we can find out if Mr. Lanza was actually reloading between rooms that would pull a great deal out of the whole mag cap bill. But then again, when the point of the bill is people controllit wont matter what the facts are

the article presented claims lanza was doing tactical reloads between rooms. he learned this gaming, call to duty or similar video games are very realistic and some kids fall into a pit of alternative reality.
