If you watch FoxNews, most of their women anchors are beautiful, most are lawyers too, and most are beauty and brains. TV and movies are considered visual media or visual medium. Maybe in tv they need more brainer anchor women than movies...just saying...

I read an article the other day about how women in the U.S. have advanced greatly in the workplace, holding down many more of the senior executive positions than ever before, a trend that is continuing. I say GOOD! I think women should take over Congress AND the WH. They can't screw it up any more than the men have!

If you mean the likes of Michelle Bachman as an example, I do not think any woman is ready to become a POTUS of this country. I have nothing against women running a company but this country is far too big and complicated and not many women who are there now has ever been to war to fight and know what it's like. If I had a choice of electing someone, whether it is a man or a woman, s/he'd have to have military experience. Our country is known to have the greatest and strongest military in the whole world and when there are conflicts somewhere it is our people, our soldiers that are sent to help and die so those bastards cannot come to our shores. Many tried, many will try again and again. Just managing a military is a huge job a woman cannot understand fully. Managing an economy is not like managing a small business...it's got to be a real big, big, huge business that can spawn its tentacles all over the world, underground and overground and in the air, the atmosphere and space. America is the power, militarily (is there a word as this?) and space-i-ally. This is what America is known for. No woman at this stage is ready for that. (And I am inventing words to suit my thinking ... sorry.) Not even Barack Obama -- that is why as the king-wannabe of the one-world alliance, he is distributing our powers overseas to be overseen by others. He thought he can capture and captivate the world. He can't. He is just not the bright-est and fair-est crayon in the box. Need I say more...I have more to say BUT as this is the internet, as Ted Nugent said "by this time next year, I'd either be in jail or dead."

There is only one Glenn Close and one Merryl Streep...but they are movie stars.
