Wanted to let folks here know about a new product in development by MWTS and Centrolutions.

Want to get more from your dryfire training?

This program is designed to provide real time feedback on shot placement and times, and has a variety of different modes and features to help you get more from your dry-fire training. The intent of this software is to improve the value of your dryfire training sessions in conjunction with laser training aides, such as SIRT products or Laserlyte inserts.

The only items you will need is a decent quality webcam, compatible computer, one or more targets, and your laser dry fire training device. We have designed this program to work with a variety of hardware, so there is no need to purchase a special camera or special targets. To see the program in action, take a look at the videos at Link Removed

I have updated the website to give some more details, including pricing, features, system requirements, how to make compatible targets, etc.

I don't want to give a specific date, but we are getting very close to releasing the Basic version within a few weeks. The basic version will be followed by a Pro version in a few months. I have been using this extensively as about 70% of my personal training is dryfire, and I know it has had significant positive impacts on my live fire skills, both technical and tactical. Everyone from the carry permit holder, to the tactical trainer, to the instructor can benefit from this software.

Isn't there a "marketplace" for advertising? As far as I'm concerned, advertising in a discussion forum--especially when preceded by a header falsely worded to sound like a discussion topic--earns a huge "don't even consider" from me. Dishonesty doesn't win points. I'll just keep using my SIRT and will tout it to my students.

That is a pretty clever and useful product. Much better than trying to see where your laser is when you fire. I don't have one (although I would like to get one) but I have always thought that it would be tricky to actually know where you hit.

Oh, and they are looking for beta testers. So maybe ad; maybe opportunity.
