White SUV's

I was just at my local gun dealer doing my once a week browsing and in walks 6 guys dressed in solid green attire, I didn't think much of it until I saw them open carrying with badges along their waists. I finished my browsing and walked outside to find 6 white SUV 's with all the light and shotguns and everything else like an undercover! I then noticed the license plates all from different states.
Also they were buying handguns, extended magazines and ammo! I personally feel its kind of weird. I was just wondering if anyone out there has seen or no what these guys could possibly be doing?

Illegal aliens, the men in green, Or obamas new recruits, other than that I have no clue.

So, you didn't take any pics of the SUVs? You didn't go back after they left to inquire from the dealer who they were?

Not much to share here........

Usually, it is Border Patrol decked out in green. And while you didn't state what state you are in, most likely they are likely on their way to either a LEO funeral, or something similar.

State license plates? Notice any prefix on the plates like EX or ISP or C No other markings on the vehicles? They had hidden lights or toplights? Any insignia on the green clothes, like an eagle on the sleeve, or a flag? And vehicles from six states, were they all neighboring states to you? and last where did this happen?

I've seen this in Texas. We have a outfitter for police, fire and any kind of fleet vehicles you could imagine. They leave strait white or white and black with no markings. Then whatever dept. or company mark them up. Sometimes they come in with plates from different states or dealer plates. Alot of time the police dept. Sends guys to pic them up and drive them back. Was eating lunch one day and like six guys came in where I was eating, I asked how they like the new fleet explorers and they said they just pickedem up and didn't know. You probably saw border patrol.

There was a training session in Chicago recently. They might have been coming back from that.

I'm in ky, the license plates were Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, and New Jersey. No logos on their clothes. The vehicles were all Chevy Tahoe's and suburban's with hidden lights. I think I answered everyone's questions.

I would believe they were Border Patrol, if they were all from TX., and all vehicles were brand new... Don't know about the other states plates, though, and I would also wonder what they were doing in KY...
Don't know what to think about it.

Uncle Al, didn't you get the memo the border has been moved North. Look around at all the Mexican Nationals they are everywhere not to mention all the South Americans as well. So it goes without saying that Border Patrol would be in Kentucky even further North.

I'm guessing... I don't know what I'm guessing... Think about it. Men in green from multiple states buying handguns? Can a non-resident walk-in and buy a gun in KY? Can they buy on their federal credentials? Don't federal agencies provide hardware to their agents?

Mexican straw purchases moved to KY because the law requires TX FFLs to file additional paperwork now.

You're not going to believe this, but there are more borders than just in TX. Lots of whits SUVs here in MI. After all, part of the border south of Detroit is a foreign country.

Couple years back I got passed on an Interstate by a cluster of black SUVs all with Gov plates. Pulled into a gas station off I-20 ( Thomson, GA ) and ran right into the same pack of SUVs. Along with a panel truck and trailer, several vans, and ATVs. Decided it was not a good idea to ask what was up and got out of there as soon as the SUV in front of me had finished filling up. Bunch of scruffy looking dudes so figured they were Revenue Agents.

Wow! Thought TX was the only state that had a border. :o)
Just wasn't thinking about Northern borders that might be down South!.

Hear you on that UATKP, may have been due to about middle for everyone to meet at. But the white SUV's and the green uniform sounds about right for Border Patrol.

It still makes me wonder about them buying guns out of their home states... I wonder if Federal Law exempts them from that little infringement.

From what this say, they can legally purchase.
