which would you get?

Ok all, b-day was yesterday and found out Im getting gift certificate to Buds. So Im looking at either a RI 1911 or the Marlin 308 heavy barrel rifle. Not sure which one I should get. A hunting type rifle I do not have but the other is a 1911 model pistol which I do want. Would love to get my wheel gun the SandW 686 but I wont have that much. Just looking for opinions.

What you get is a personal choice. What do you want to do... hunt or have a piece for ccw? Both the 1911 and the S&W 686 are a bit bulky for ccw, but it can be done. Kinda hard to cc with a 308. By the way, Happy Birthday.

Like he said... want a gun to hunt with or something for carry or home defense?
