Where would you rather live

Gun ownership looks pretty good to me.

mmckee1952,

The picture comes out so small one cannot read the legends to the left. Do you have a URL link?

Good point and good graphic. But it is a no-brainer for me. Quite happy living where I am.

Glad to hear you are happy where you are. Really, I am. My question is, why do you come on our website criticizing us and our way of life? Why don't you start NewZealandCarry.com? Just a thought...

Regarding the graphic and the thread. 1. What is the basis for the graphic? Where do these supposed "numbers" come from that produced the graphic? Don't believe everything you read in this forum or what is on the internet--good chance it is not what it seems. 2. I assume the conclusion that you are suppose to embrace from this thread is that the US is the place to live. I guess this graphic could go further and just concentrate on the US and show the same graphics by state. I assume the conclusion you would draw from that graphic is that there are only certain states you should live in if you want your firearm and do not want to be the victim of a homicide. If this is your mindset, you will be sorely disappointed in the choice you make. When I go on vacation I end up in places that are just heaven on earth and I cannot but think what a great place this would be to live, but I soon wake up and realize that I am on vacation and I am not living here 24/7--big difference. This is what belies the underlying conclusion these graphics tend to portray.
As far as our friend from N. Zealand is concerned, welcome to the forum and you are a lucky man to be living in a wonderful country. To say that you are happy where you are is just telling it like it is and has nothing to do with a slap in the face to the USA. Personally, as this country slips further into an asylum run by its inmates, more of us should think about places like N. Zealand to escape the cloud of chaos that will consume us in not so many years.
