Where is the outrage for our veterans?

The growth of charities and the generosity of America for our veterans is nothing less than amazing from money contributions, to housing, to hunting trips ordinary people have contributed mightily. But it begs the obvious, where is the government in taking care of it's own? Where is the follow through for these men and women who are put out for the US's objectives? I understand listening to Andrew Wilkow that the VA is the 2nd largest funded agency in the federal gov't. How is it possible that given this level of funding the care and attention is not getting to our troops? Need all we can reach to raise this issue and to contact your representative and senators. Ask the hard questions and see what be accomplished.

When money is pouring into an organization, and then disappearing, look first at the senior executives' lifestyles. Because it is sure not reaching the people who need it.
It is also quite possible it's being siphoned off to another federal agency.

Thank you for your service! You are a credit to our country. I never condemned you or the others that served in Vietnam. I was a draft dodger, going to school, getting married, supporting a baby, and lucking out with a high lottery number. I would have served my county in a heart beat to protect this country, and I would do it now. It was MHO Vietnam then, and Iraq, Afghanistan, or any of the Middle East now, is not really a threat to this country. I did not want to get involved in a operation the leaders of this country did not want to win. 55,000+ Americans died, billions spent in Vietnam, and our leaders turn tail and run, leaving the country in worse shape. What have we fixed in Iraq or Afghanistan? Then when our fine military men and woman return they are treated so poorly by our very leaders that sent them into that mess. What I do not understand is why anyone would volunteer to serve in the military after seeing how they will be treated when they return home. Our military men and woman should be brought home to protect our borders and coasts. Call me what you want, but I want them protecting this country, not spread through out the world so thinly they can not protect any one.

Three words come to mind to where all the money is going.......Waste, Abuse & Fraud. Fraud being probably the biggest with those that operate the VA.

As I am sure you are aware, this administration and most of the "Progressives" have a deep dislike for the military except for what they can do for them. This is why all the traditionally-oriented military brass has been shoved out the door. Only those who will obey this CIC (I detest using this to describe him) survive so the military now caters to the fringe of society and not those wanting to excel and keep the US strong. It will not be long until there is no threat from the military unless someone can be elected that will go back in and clean house and restore discipline. The rights of straight soldiers, of Christian or Jewish soldiers are being subjugated to this muzzie loving deviant behavior promoting administration.
----This is why this administration accepts the excessive waiting times for medical determinations. Just beccause he appeared before a veterans group and stated how plans are in place to reduce the backlog means absolutely nothing. As with many other things, he reads his teleprompter that tells all sort of good sounding plans then must say to himself under his breath, "Suckers." I say this because nothing changes. How long ago did he promise changes on the IRS charitable organization scandal? Last week, it appears none of the organizations have been contacted by the FBI or IRS and it has been over 3 years in some cases. I think they want to keep the delay in place until too late to affect the 2014 elections. Mollify, delay and do just as always and most of the media let them.
