where did the small arms of the former Eastern German army go?

Back in the 50's and 60's you could buy them mail order for $19.95 to $50. I had a Luger P-08 that I got for $29.95 in good to excellent condition. I used a conversion kit on it to convert it to .22. Man, I wish I still had that thing!

The German Nation took possession of all equipment belonging to the East German Armed Forces AND the West German Armed Forces. The used some. Put some in storage for future use and sold what they didn't scrap of the rest.

Didn't you notice the Kalashnikovs and Makarovs for sale the last 20? Years?
