What's a good IWB holster for 3-4 o'clock carry?

I have a bit of beer gut and love handles and I'm looking for a good IWB holster for 3-4 o'clock position so I don't have to worry about imprinting. I don't like appendix carry because I don't like being poked in the gut.

Thanks!

I've used both Old Faithful and Alien gear. Can't go wrong with either one. Both well-made, fully customizable, lifetime/55 year warranties, and the prices aren't bad, either. Both can be had on eBay with quick shipping and custom-made for your particular gun. OF cheap option requires you to assemble, which isn't hard at all. AG cheaper, and comes assembled.

5'10", 220#, bit of a gut and LH, too.

PS - it'll poke a bit while molding to you, but in my experience, doesn't take long at all. Carry often and soon you'll be amazed at how comfortable it can be.

I have a Crossbreed Holster and a Minotaur M-Tac Holster by Comp-tac. Both comfortable holsters. One has metal belt clips the other has plastic belt clips.

rjay, I am a big guy too, 6'4" 300 lb. and have a bit of a gut. I have carried a lot of different weapons over the years and the most comfortable holster that I have found in the past 10 years is an IWB hybrid holster. My main holster is made by Kholster out of St. Louis, and I have 4 other holsters made on the same idea (CrossBreed Super Tuck; DeSantis and two others that their names escape me right now). I keep coming back to the Kholster because of the fit, the warranty, low-cost, and the absolutely pure comfort with the carry. You can order them for just about any gun ever made. You can cut the leather to suit yourself on the fit and it does not void the warranty, lifetime, no strings attached warranty. I have probably sold 100-175 of them to friends (I didn't actually sell them, I sold the friends on the concept, they bought and they like it) and patrons of our private range in the Ozark Foothills of Southern Missouri. It gets hot here, and us big guys know what it is like to 'perspire', especially in August and September, but I never have a damp pistol or revolver that I carry! The Kholster's thick, pliable leather keeps me and my gun comfortable. I wrote a review on the Kholster on USA Carry a couple of years ago... Try it, you'll like it!!

I'm a big guy too and I love my MacKenzie Holster with my XD45. They are very friendly and provide fast reliable order response.

I use a galco at 4 oclock for a glock 22 and crossbreed with a g23/27 . Also have crossbreed for an lc9. I'm 5'11" 290. Forget I have them on they are so comfortable

I'm 6'3", 300 lbs and looked for a long time to find holsters that are comfortable and protect the gun (and me) well, and also provide good concealment. Kholster and Crossbreed; I have both and like them equally. They are both great.

I've used some of the ones listed above!Out of all of the holsters that i have used, the Remora clipless is the best. It is the most comfortable one I have used, and it stays in place. I understand there is a limited time promo on there web site Try Remora.com!
