Being hyper militant is a good way to scare those on the fence over to the other side. Those timid little sheep are the ones we need to bring into the fold and teach and nurture until we get them voting on our side.

The liberals are playing hardball with our rights and we need to beat them at their own game. Any other method and we end up looking like the bad guys and giving them more supporters.

Sure, keep up your training and keep your gear handy. Maybe if it all goes South in the worst way imaginable you might need it. But if we use our brains and fight with votes and courtrooms it won’t come to that.

If you really want to support the cause, donate to the NRA …often.

I knew a guy whose wife took his bass boat away from him in their divorce, and she hated fishing. Then she offered to sell it back to him. That's truly cruel.

Maybe I am. But I am CERTAINLY going to try that for as long as I can before I go running off with my "guns-a-blazing".
Trying to start up a civil war isn't high on my list of things to do today. I get the impression that it sucked real bad the last time we did it.

Yes, we CAN fight them one at a time. If every liberty loving American that they came for in the darkness managed to take out at least one of them (hopefully maybe even more), then after a while it would no longer be fun for them.

I'm kind of with Rhino on this one. I know what my course of action will be, but that won't be a tough decision. The tough call is gonna be for those "public servants" who get sent out by some political appointee to try and execute that order. I think there are those that will love the power trip and the chance for some action; you know, "I dare you to resist". I think in most areas of the country the elected Sheriffs will be putting their boots up the collective arses of the appointed police chiefs, and/or dropping their badge on the desk and saying "do it yourself".

You'd like to believe what exactly? Do you know of some gestapo horde that the rest of us aren't aware of? I'm not the one who's putting forth a concept that needs to be believed, my friend. If there's anything here that needs to be proved, it's the existence of "Obamas jack booted thugs". The 'horde of gestapo' I mentioned doesn't exist, or at least there's no evidence of it. That was my point. And that rank and file law enforcement overwhelmingly supports the 2nd amendment is a very well established and very repeatedly established fact. If you have trouble believing fact over fairy tale, I truly feel for you. Certainly there are some who will attempt to carry out those orders, and undoubtedly more will go along in the very beginning. But the idea that there is some kind of robotic-like gestapo horde just waiting to toss the Constitution in the trash can and blindly follow Obama's orders to seize all privately owned guns is nothing more than pure fantasy. It's not my intention to offend, but I frankly have trouble understanding how any adult American can believe something that ridiculous. I have the same trouble understanding how any thinking adult can buy into the incredulous fantasy that American military members are also trained to follow any order, no matter how wrong or illegal that order may be. The only thing I can figure is that our public school system must be turning out some of the most stupendously gullible people on earth.

They know what boards you post on, and might have even run a psychological profile on you based on your postings, combined with sites visited, porn watched and all of your email accounts.

Sure, I'm on a few lists. But everyone who doesn't live in a third world country is on at least one.

I was on file with the FBI when I was 19. Its WAY too late for me to try to hide now. I just make sure that anything that can be hung around my neck is safe for public consumption.
