Liberals don't admit a lot of things. Starting with the fact that they are liberal. They hide behind the term "progressive". As in progressively dragging this nation down the sewer.

Liberals don't want to admit their policies are responsible for the moral destruction of this once great nation. The great society was created in the sixties, by liberals, to end poverty once and for all in this country. How's that working for us?

Actually it is the progressives that are hiding behind the term "liberal". Liberals have been around forever and they are just another fact of life. Progressives on the other hand well, they know how we all feel about marxism, communism, and socialism so they had to hide somewhere.
