OK boys and girls...get out those slingshots and lets hurl some rocks (verbally so to speak) on what is the best manufacturer/design of pistol

Please state your reasons.

Please feel free to discuss points of contention...

Now vote and come out swinging...

H&K I like the dependability and the recoil reduction system in the USP series of pistols...mine has well over 6000 rounds down range and is still as accurate as the day I got her!

HK..as an innovator and quality firearms that stand the test of time. I have three P7M8's that never fail to put a grin on my face and provide exceptionally tight groups on the range.

Can't vote on my phone but I'm going with ruger based on the past few years. I'm sure it'll be 80% glock on here though haha

Always have been a Ruger fan and always will be but I recently bought a Barrera PX4 Storm Sub compact that is really sweet

HK I have yet to hear of another gun where they jammed a round down the barrel, loaded it, fired it, and the gun survived with just a slight bulge to the barrel. After the test it still fired a decent pattern.

In a world of compromise, some don't.

for me its got to be magnum research

When it comes to fast action shooting. I prefer my magnum research, baby Eagle in 40s&w the frame is perfect for the the combat grip and the weight, for me puts me dead on target every time.

Glock because it goes Bang every time you pull the trigger, Put 2000 rounds down range before cleaning it and it was still working fine and not as dirty but that might be from using better ammo. Yes H&K are more accurate then a Glock but I know my Glock can fall in the mud, sand and still go bang till the magazine is emptied.

Gotta say Glock with Kahr a close second for automatics. I like the Glock's reliability, they shoot well and don't cost and arm and a leg. My Kahr is a very accurate gun, especially for its size.

Revolvers - 100% Smith and Wesson. Ruger a close second.

Of course, I've never fired a gun from 80% of the manufacturers on the list.

I voted for Ruger simply because their more recent carry guns (LC9, LCP, LCR, etc.) are of good quality and reasonably priced.

I have several Colts and S&W's that are of equal quality. However, they're all larger calibers and aren't in my carry arsenal.

Glock has always been a most trusted gun and I love all of mine. However, I have an XDM40 by Springfield Armory and thier XD line rivals Glock AND they are a U.S. company. I'm so torn.

There are many fine manufacturers on that list, 14 of which I have direct experience with to varying extents. I voted for HK. What can I say - German engineering. The workmanship, fit & finish, and (most importantly) the results when I squeeze the trigger are all unsurpassed IMO. I also know some gentlemen who have real-world experience with HK pistols in the sand, dust, and mud of SW Asia and they swear by them.

HK it is.

me say

Glock is my favorite, but I have an XD9 that is very accurate. Liability i go with Glock and Im a good shot with it but my XD9 is real accurate. So I'll just carry both :<)

I have 2 XDs that have been flawless thru 2.5K rounds now, alls sorts of ammo. Can't really beat that for me.

S&W and Springfield are my favorites, my XD .45 is really great and my sw 1911 is fantastic.
