What is everyone carrying right now? I'll go first. My current EDC is a Glock 48 MOS with a Shield Sights RMSc. I'm having a regular Glock 48 cut for a Holosun 507k which will then be my main EDC and the Glock 48 MOS will be a backup. I'm carrying that in a Phlster Pro Holster with DCC clips or mounted to a Phlster Enigma.

Glock 43. I would like to get a G43 XL though. I have made a ton of holsters for it and I really like the full grip.

The Glock 26 is the most versatile carry gun I have ever owned.

Before I retired I worked nights as a security guard on an unarmed site in one of the worst neighborhoods in town. I had my 26 in my pocket (holstered) every night.

A 26 is small enough for at home carry and with a 12 round OEM magazine it's capacity is adequate for any REALISTIC situation you're likely to encounter.

I'm kind of a holster snob, I use Kramer leather

Personally i dont trust glocks because they have no external safety. Theres been too many ad's with them. And spare me the worn out, "if you keep your finger off the trigger it wont fire" blurb. While that is mostly true, the gun can be fired by other means that you may not think about like getting your shirt tail inside the trigger guard.

I have had three glocks and i just never felt comfortable carrying one because shit happens. I carry a 1911 or a revolver.

I am a Glock 22 person myself. You give up two rounds of ammo, but get more stopping power from the .40 S&W round.

I've got a Glock 22 like it and have previously carried it; I like 40.
The 17 gen 5 was a recent acquisition and it excelled in shooting for me.
Most of my shooting is 8-10 yards at speed, approx. 1/3- 1/2 second subsequent shots.




I didn't use a timer in those sessions; I've used one before, so I'm being experienced subjective.
I'm quick with any of them, I'm quickest with the 17 - difference may be small but its there.
The grip of the 17/22 fits my hand the best, 19/23 being a bit small and 20SF being a bit fat.
