I've got a Glock 22 like it and have previously carried it; I like 40.I am a Glock 22 person myself. You give up two rounds of ammo, but get more stopping power from the .40 S&W round.
The 17 gen 5 was a recent acquisition and it excelled in shooting for me.
Most of my shooting is 8-10 yards at speed, approx. 1/3- 1/2 second subsequent shots.
I didn't use a timer in those sessions; I've used one before, so I'm being experienced subjective.
I'm quick with any of them, I'm quickest with the 17 - difference may be small but its there.
The grip of the 17/22 fits my hand the best, 19/23 being a bit small and 20SF being a bit fat.
