what can be done in NYC to have our 2a rights why does no one take them on

Hi All
what must be done to have our 2a rights here in NYC. Do you know That living in NYC you need a permit to buy a rifle? are you kidding me.The cost is over $300.00 for the first year and around $200.00 every 3 years .Why can i not have a rifle or even a piston in my home for my own protection.this is very strange.I pry some group will take them to court .Thats just crazey anyone know of a way to get these groups involved? or are they afraid of the Mayor on NYC ?

You need a local organization to work hard for you. In NC, we have Grass Roots North Carolina, a state level organization. See grnc.org. They worked hard here to get CCW and to expand it, and get Castle Doctrine. Look them up and contact Paul Valone, the president. He will be glad to help you get a local and/or state level group. With NYC having so many laws of its own, I would think you for sure need a city level group. Should be solid citizens who have the knowledge and time to attend public meetings, confront councilmen, commissioners, etc. The bigger the numbers the better.

Here is my best suggestion move to a new state. It will b a long tough fight to get those laws changes but if ur up to it all the best of luck to u. Every American should b allowed to own guns without having extra fees hope all works out for u

The fees for our permits were challenged recently but unfortunately did not end in our favor.I live next door in Nassau county on Long island with similar fees($40 less) although no permits for long arms.I hear Fuhrer Bloomturd got one of his lapdogs as our police chief now. Link Removed

We are gathering some of our residents to challenge the licensing process right now.At the moment interview appointments for new licenses are being scheduled past Feb 2013.The 6 month wait and our investigation doesn't start until the interview because they don't give us a real NYS application until then.Instead The form they give us initially is called a "applicant questionnaire" and they are exploiting that loop hole.Hopefully we can gather enough names and take them to court.I believe the states may issue is also being challenged right now and the argument brings up facts that they cant ignore.
