We are all enjoying Christmas and New Years Eve is approaching fast.
You may or may not be aware of the next significant calendar event approaching. It is February 2, 2013, or 2/2/13. The number and combination of numbers really don't matter. In the coming New Year, 2013, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day.
This is an ironic juxtaposition of events.
One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication. The other involves a weather forecast for the following 6 weeks.... (grin) .
