"Welcome to my home"

Saw this on Facebook thought I would share.

My bedroom is locked and door-stopped and it is only my wife and I in the house. I have my cell for 911 and my car alarm for lights and noise. The lights and noise should bother the slime and also make it easer for any LEO to find my house should they arrive in time. No children to worry about in other areas. My TV and my computer are insured and replaceable--I am insured but not replaceable so I will not go out of my secure bedroom and find out that the slime is better at this than me. I have my lethal semi auto and my 12g double 0 and a very secure position that covers the bedroom door and still protecting and hiding myself. I do not have flashlights and lasers and do not rack my shotgun. I know where I am, I know my bedroom and they do not--why let them know anything about where I am or that I heard them. They forcibly enter my bedroom they will find out that your poster has a lethal meaning to them--it will be their last meaningful thought.

i'm too claustrophobic to sleep with my bedroom door closed, and we shouldn't have to live in prisons in our own homes either. but it's a shame we do have to lock our doors and windows at night in most places anymore
smh

you are exactly rite about a dark room. my whole hose is dark when im sleeping. there is one small night lite where a person would enter.
i can go all thru my hose in the dark, but a burglar cant.

Since we have cats that like to make noise at night... and police don't like to respond to a 911 call only to discover the damn cat knocked over a lamp........... for the third time this month... I will go see what the "bump" was.

We have nite lights all through the house. Every room has at least one. They give enough light to identify friend or foe or cat... and if, after a "bump in the night", the nite light(s) are out in any room then that is the room I will figure the bad guy is in because cats don't turn off lights. If he stays in there until the police arrive... well... good. If he doesn't ... well... I don't know how things will go from there.

While I dont search, i dont prevent my dog from doing so and I will usually be right behind her. I guarantee if she is on you, you are not really paying me to much attention...but you really should.
