Question ? Why does everyone when they talk about drugs include pot ? It's a plant... Been here for millions of years and I know personally tons of people who smoke pot who have there Ccw and tons of guns... If stuff breaks out I'm even planning on there house because of all the experience they have ... What's peoples thoughts on weed , and not saying go to the shooting range of you smoke when your high ... Just never understand why everyone is so hateful about it
 
Firearms and drugs (including alcohol) just don't mix!
If you carry a firearm, then just say 'nope to dope and ugh to drugs'.

FYI, Heroin is also from 'a plant'. Just saying.

My opinion is, if you want to smoke weed (subject to the same restrictions as alcohol) that's your business.
 
I'm not a weed smoker, but I agree with everything the OP says. Does that make me a troll too?

A person who uses marijuana (or heroin, cocaine, meth, or hallucinogens for that matter), provided they aren't committing crimes to support their habits, is not harming anyone with their habit. Obviously there is a danger in carrying while under the influence, but a person who carries and is also a user is no one the police need to be concerned about.
 
Pot is a drug as is opium, peyote, you name it. That's why it is referred to as a drug. How one cares to classify it in the grand scheme of the drug world is irrelevant.

Marijuana is a drug, just like opiates (also a plant), tobacco / nicotine (also a plant), alcohol (fermented barley, fruits, and vegetables, also a plants), peyote (also a plant), caffeine (also from a plant, same classification [alkaloid] as nicotine) etc etc.

One reason a lot of people hate it, is because it ruined some ones life that was close to them. Just like people hate alcohol, narcotics, and other addictions.

Be responsible, that's all I have to say.
 
Interesting responses and I'm not a troll just sick of hearing about pot ... And how crazy it is or off the handle... And I understand heroin is a plant but I don't think shooting or smoking heroin and smokin a joint is the same in any means... I also agree if you smoke weed u shouldn't carry just sick of hearing how it's so bad yet it's legal in half the states and has medical value ... Just wanted everyone and there' thoughts

Interesting fact of the day: What is the most used drug? Caffeine.

Calling something a drug does not have necessarily have negative connotations. Weed (THC) is a drug just like caffeine or meth.
 
this kind of reminds me of people griping about the kardashians/lohans/jersey shore, etc...they gripe that it's all over the news, but yet they are talking about it. if you dont want to hear it, dont talk about it.

I agree! Concealed means concealed. If you don't want people talking about or staring at your weed, or you don't want the cops hasslilng you about your weed, then keep your weed concealed. I've been told that guy with his weed out in the open gets shot first by criminals. Nobody should know about your weed until it's time for a "SURPRISE" party! :laugh:

Drugs impair your mind. It includes illegal drugs as well as some prescriptions & alcohol!!! Anything that impairs your thoughts & guns do not mix!!!
 
Never mind I'll have to ask people on a site other then this people are too judgmental and that's the problem I asked for thoughts not a hole remarks guess you can't read either
