Washington state lights up as smoking marijuana becomes legal

Got Beretta's?
I have always said that it I were King and I wanted to control the masses I would keep them stoned.

Now that Washington State has flipped the bird to Washington DC I wonder.........

If the authorities came across information that you as a CCW license holder were hanging around the shanty and putting a good buzz on, would they then use that info to yank your CCW? Hell would they use that to seize your firearms.
Weren't all the mass shooters stoned at the time?
I'm not shouting Reefer Madness I am just saying that in due time it could become an issue for gun owners in the purple haze states.

"The police department believes that, under state law, you may responsibly get baked, order some pizzas and enjoy a Lord of the Rings marathon in the privacy of your own home, if you want to."
The department also posted a picture of actor Jeff Bridges as the cannabis-smoking character "The Dude" from the comedy film "The Big Lebowski".
Encouraging indoor cannabis smoking, it carried the caption: "The Dude abides, and says, 'take it inside!"
Washington and Colorado became the first two states to decriminalise and regulate the possession of cannabis in ballots held alongside the US presidential election on Nov 6. The Colorado law takes effect on Jan 5.
In Washington it is now legal for adults over the age of 21 to possess an ounce of the drug, or up to 16 ounces of cannabis-infused goods like brownies or cookies, or up to 72 ounces in liquid form.

Hmmmmm. Since Hop's is a relative of Cannabis can Cannabis beer be on the horizon.

I think I'm more worried about people video taping themselves shooting their own nut sack. Thanks tosh.o

To me, it's an issue of freedom. Let them them spend THEIR money however they see fit. As long as they aren't behind the wheel, they aren't harming anyone, so leave them be. The only part of this law I don't like is that it limits how much marijuana people are allowed to possess. Why? I've never seen such limits imposed on the possession of alcohol and tobacco, both of which have killed far more people than marijuana.

Much ado about nothing. Similar to the outcry when states first began allowing concealed carry. I haven't smoke it in 20 years and if nevada legalized it, I still wouldn't.
