Washington Man gets jail time over sale of weapon....

He knowingly sold a 40sw to a non-Washington resident (Canadian) that was later used in the murder of a woman. He is now a convicted felon sitting in a jail cell. Stupid at best.

Moral of story....If you are going to sell a weapon over the US border that is used in a murder and not get jail time, you must first be the US Attorney General?

Do the crime, do the time. If you don't know the person, at least get a copy of their ID. Then, if something happens, you won't be charged if the ID was from your state.

I live 20 min form the border with Canada. If you list a handgun or "black" rifle in the paper of local want ads you get lots of calls from Canada. Even Wally world has made a agreement with Canada in regards to ammo any store close to the Canadian border will check ID to see if your a citizen and refuse to sell to Canadians even though it is legal to sell them ammo.
