Warthog Grips

I can't find anyone who creates wood grips for the Para Warthog. This got to thinking.
(yea I know that is a scary thing)

Wonder how it would look if you took paint stirrer stick (type for 5 gallon). Stained them a different color and glued them together (mufti layer). Cut and sand into shape.

This should let the additional layers show up.
Poly and mount to weapon.

You would need to use a good wood glue and clamp for a day to allow them to dry.

Anyone tried this?

Ya, go to woodcrafters or rocklers. Also you might find some local places that do cabinet work, you might be able to find some scraps that look good.

I have some curly maple but I wanted to test on junk wood to see how they would turn out first...
Thought these might look interesting.

Grips

I have a Slim Hog, and ran into the same problem. I'm not much of a wood worker either, took me two true to get the feel I wanted, but with a little tongue oil they look great
