Another version seen on bumperstickers is: Due to the recent increase in ammo prices, warning shots will no longer be given.

i love it but being in florida with this zimmerman martin crap i won't be posting that anyplace. they will twist it to you being a trigger happy sob looking for an excuse to shoot someone

I to have even erased the picture from my text messages. Since the Zimmerman case for that same reason. And I live in Michigan lol. If he were to have had anything like that on his Facebook or text they would have said trigger happy for sure!! Although not being so.

Last month when I was in El Paso walking alone. This creepy looking dude stopped his ratty old truck & just stared at me along a block & a half. My husband said I was just hoping he got out of the truck so I could shoot him.

Again not something 2 say in public. Gheese. I kept an eye on him & he was across the street so I would have had plenty of time 2 draw & warn him back. Im not trigger happy. Haven't shot at anyone yet. But I was ready I think he saw that. For some reason my hand kept vigil at my hip.

It is really TOO BAD when stuff is taken the wrong way due to current events . . this is just gunner's humor . . albeit a little sic, still humor.

I have a sign mounted next to my front door that says " ATTENTION THIEVES : please carry ID so we can notify your next of kin . . " To me this is dual purpose, first is of course my humor, second is it kind of mocks the voter ID argument - which IS a current event . . maybe third does reflect a gentle warning about how I feel when it comes to thieves or home intruders, but my intent was really the first two things I mentioned. So, thats my 1/5th of a dime, and I am sticking to my intent regardless of how it's taken.

My brother has a sign on our family property. The property our father left us...Way out out in the country.

"If You Can Read This You Are Within Range"

I refuse to allow the day to day political correctness rule my life!

.

This is awesome!

Trying to remember a sign I saw years ago, something like: "Trespassers shot first, asked questions later".

I think it would be great to have two perps just to see the look on the face of the second one as you drop the first....oh, sorry. This may paint me as trigger happy. I haven't shot at anyone yet, either. Not intentionally anyways.

"My dog needs a good meal. Please step inside the gate."

I don't know if it was a true story or urban legend, but back in the early '80's the story was something like this: Property owner has dog. Property is fenced. Sign on fence says, "Beware Of Dog". Bad guy hops fence with admitted intent to rob homeowner. Dog mauls BG. BG sues. BG's lawyer says that the property owner's Beware Of Dog sign was an indication that the owner knew the dog to be a threat. Also that the fence was not designed for BG's to stay out, but to keep the dangerous dog in. BG wins to the tune of 10's of thousands of dollars.

This is a confusing story...how come the BG wins money. What is this? Push the button and you might win a prize?!? Toilet-style verdict...bah!!!:hang3:

In the text of the conversation here please delete the word yet. Thank you.

Just a word of warning. Dog owners please take my advice.
Back many years ago when I trained my first "guard dog" ( a real doggy bwitch Doberman)not "attack dog", there is a difference. It is amazing what you can get a dog to do in this regard with psychological training and no formal bite-work.
Well I read this in a dog magazine, DOG WORLD. It was in the legal section. Basically it said to not post any "Beware of Dog" signs. This was because it could be construed that you have a viscous dog and knew it opening you up to a lawsuit if the dog bit someone. My advice to you (dog owners) is do something along the lines that I have done.
I have a door mat with a picture of and the wording that states "We love Rottweilers" and a nice flag on occasion of a Rottweiler. Trust me, that is warning enough for any half wit that wants to see for themselves and it's pretty innocuous.
The real guardian is my 14 lb. Border Terrier!

Posted this just last week: Link Removed -- But just like several have noted here, I'm shy to put anything on my house or car these days that will give a crazy nutcase a reason to put their spotlight on my or my family.
